Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, today, Tuesday, March 25, visited Adum PZ in the Ashanti Region to express his heartfelt sympathy to the traders affected by the recent fire that ravaged the area.
The fire incident, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, March 21, destroyed several shops and properties, leaving many traders counting their losses.
During his visit, the 2024 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) made time to meet with the affected traders and listen to their stories, offering both emotional and financial support.
He presented to them 1,000 bags of cement to aid rebuilding efforts, and also presented a cash amount of GH¢200,000.
