Agbeshie's new song is a true story of two of his friends in the music industry: Kelvynboy and Quamina MP.
According to him, the story is about how these two friends got played by a lady.
He made this revelation to Doreen Avio in a recent interview on Talk Showbiz on Joy News Channel while talking about the inspiration behind his new song titled 'Alakpator', an Ewe word which translates as 'liar'.
"So you know I'm cool with Kelvynboy and I'm cool with Quamina MP as well. Like my industry brought us so I realised the two of them were being played by one girl. So I was like, okay, I need to address this musically, so that's it,” he noted.
Agbeshie confirmed that Kelvyn Boy and Quamina MP are aware of the song and its message, and that they are comfortable with it.
"Oh, they know. I've told them and it features Chief Wan," he said. "It's like, you know, they follow one girl kind of thing, so same girl kinda vibe. So me, I told them, I gave them the information,” he stated.
When asked for advice for young musicians, Agbeshie emphasised the importance of education.
"I would say, if you're watching me, you upcoming, first of all, try to educate yourself because education is very key," he said.
In conclusion, Agbeshie's new song 'Alakpator' is more than just a catchy tune - it's a commentary on the music industry and the importance of being true to oneself.
With its thought-provoking lyrics, 'Alakpator' is sure to spark conversation and leave a lasting impression on listeners.
