Access to quality healthcare remains a challenge for many rural farmers in Ghana, who often face limited medical facilities, long travel distances, and high healthcare costs.
Recognising this critical issue, Healthy Farmer, a Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC)-funded business, is leveraging telemedicine to provide farmers with prompt, affordable, and life-saving medical services.

Through its innovative telemedicine platform, Healthy Farmer connects rural farmers with qualified healthcare professionals, enabling remote consultations, diagnosis, and follow-ups.
This solution ensures that farmers no longer have to endure long waits or travel miles to seek medical attention. Instead, they can receive expert healthcare services at their convenience, improving their overall well-being and productivity.
Co-founder of Healthy Farmer, Priscilla Dzampah, highlights the company’s mission: "Access to quality healthcare should not be a privilege but a right for all, including rural farmers.

"Through Healthy Farmer, we leverage telemedicine to bridge healthcare gaps, ensuring timely, affordable, and life-saving medical services for farmers."
