The annual Mother's Day celebration, which fell on May 11, 2025, is a special day set aside to honor motherhood and encourage women to uphold sound parental responsibility.
At Joy FM, the true meaning of the day extends beyond simply recognizing mothers - it's about creating unforgettable experiences for them.
The 2025 edition saw the radio station hosting mothers at Safari Valley Eco Resort, Ghana's first modern eco park combining both natural and artificial ecotourism facilities.

The aim was to hold the celebration at a venue endowed with natural scenery and various animal species to enhance the usual festivities.
At Safari Valley, patrons divided into groups and rode in eco-carts that took them on tours to observe the animals and appreciate the natural environment.

After the sightseeing, the main program commenced with music performed by the renowned Kwanpa Band.
Lunch was served, followed by an opportunity for selected mothers to share their experiences. Awards and souvenirs were then presented to them.

The celebration concluded with the cutting and sharing of a ceremonial cake among all attendees.
