MTN Ghana, as part of its customer care promotion, dubbed MTN Reward, on Sunday, celebrated 100 female loyal customers who were mothers during the Mother's Day celebration held at the Airport View Hotel’s Event Centre in the Airport residential area in Accra.

The programme, organised by the Airport View Hotel and its media partners, including MTN, saw two MTN lucky mothers walking away with the latest iPhone and Samsung smartphone after going through some rounds of the selection process, also provided an opportunity for the rest to have various consolation prizes.
Madam Mabel Nako Oblukuteye, a staff member of Hollard Insurance Company, won an iPhone 16 Pro, while Madam Dilys Wireko Kuma of the Ghana Immigration Service received a Samsung S25.
Speaking after the event, Loyalty Manager of the MTN Ghana Marketing Division, Madam Sharon Owusuaa Antwi, stated that MTN appreciates the priceless contribution mothers make in society, adding that mothers are the heartbeat of the MTN community, so celebrating them is in the right direction.

Sharon Owusuaa Antwi explained that MTN Rewards is a month-long promotion that takes place in May every year.
She said it's a point-based loyalty system whereby relationship managers of high-value customers work hand-in-hand to compile data to determine who gets rewarded with points for every airtime, data, SMS, and with more transactions they make using the MTN APP.
Once a customer builds up those points using the MTN APP, the customer gets the opportunity to use the points to redeem something called an on-net reward.
She said the MTN Rewards Promo, which will end on May 31st, has a lot of discounted items from its partners in the promo based on the points a customer has accrued.

Relationship managers are assigned to those customers, and based on the relationship built over the years with these customers, MTN calls to inform them of what they have won.
At the end of the promo, the highest redeemer, the customer who does a lot of redemption, will win the ultimate prize for this year’s Mother's Day promotion, which is an Emirates return ticket to spend some days in Dubai.
Sharon Owusuaa Antwi urges customers to increase their use of the network to build more points to enhance their chances of winning the ultimate prize.
