The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Dr Kingsley Agyemang, has launched the fourth edition of the Dr Kingsley Agyemang (DKA) BECE Project ahead of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which begins on Wednesday, 11th June 2025.
The initiative underscores his steadfast commitment to education and youth empowerment across the constituency.

Established as a cornerstone of the constituency's educational support framework, the DKA BECE Project aims to remove logistical and financial barriers that often hinder students from performing their best in national examinations.
This year, the programme will benefit all 1,508 BECE candidates across Abuakwa South Municipality.
The support includes free meals throughout the examination period, complimentary transport for 720 candidates from remote communities, and mathematical sets for every student to ensure full preparedness.

Speaking at the launch, Dr Agyemang emphasised the initiative's broader purpose beyond material support, highlighting its role in building self-confidence and ensuring equitable access to education.
"This initiative isn't just about logistics," he stated. "It's about fairness, access, and empowerment. Every child deserves to sit their exams with dignity, confidence, and peace of mind," he said.
He offered words of encouragement to the candidates, "To all our BECE candidates: we believe in you, we're proud of you, and we're walking this journey with you. Together, let's nurture the seeds of tomorrow's success."

The DKA BECE Project continues to earn praise from parents, educators, and community leaders for improving academic performance and fostering inclusive community development.
