The widow of the late Peter Anala broke down in tears during a solemn flower-laying ceremony in his honour at the Jubilee House.
Dressed in black, she was consoled by a relative while standing alongside other family members who had gathered at the Flower Garden at the presidential palace.
The ceremony was part of tributes being paid to Mr. Anala, who lost his life in last week’s tragic military helicopter crash.
The crash, which claimed multiple lives, including Ghana's Defence and Environment Ministers, has sparked a wave of mourning across the country, with condolences pouring in from the public and state officials alike.
