Evoke Impact, organisers of the annual Ghana CFO Summit, have announced that Dr. Johnson Asiama, Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), will deliver the keynote address as Distinguished Guest of Honour at this year's event.
The event is scheduled to take place on September 9 at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
Dr. Asiama’s keynote will centre on "Navigating a Shifting Economic World: The Role of CFOs in Shaping Ghana's Financial Future", providing insights on the current state of Ghana's economy and the role of CFOs in driving financial stability, growth, and innovation.
The summit, which will be chaired by Prof Noel Tagoe, a renowned accounting professor, will also feature a range of notable industry experts, including Emmanuel Adekhalor, Country Managing Partner, EY Ghana; Alice Osei Okrah, Partner, EY Ghana; and Albert Larweh Asante, CFO & Executive Director, Standard Chartered Bank Ghana.
The others are Mr. Paul Kwasi Agyemang, CEO, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ghana (ICAG), Claudia Kyei-Baffour, Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering, MTN Ghana, Eddy Nartey, Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Africa, Barry Callebaut and Justinica Zah, CFO, CBI Ghana.
The summit promises to be a premier gathering of finance leaders from across Ghana, providing a platform for discussion, networking, and knowledge-sharing.
Key highlights of the event will include the keynote address by Dr. Asiama, panel discussions on pressing issues affecting the finance sector, and ample opportunities for attendees to connect with peers, potential partners, and industry leaders.

Ernst & Young (EY) is the Knowledge Partner for the event, bringing their expertise and insights to the summit.
The 2nd Ghana CFO Summit will culminate in the prestigious 50 Most Effective CFOs Awards, recognising and honouring exceptional finance leaders who have made significant contributions to their organisations and the industry.
This awards ceremony promises to be an exciting conclusion to the summit, celebrating the achievements of top CFOs.
