Ghana's Black Stars have moved one place up in the latest FIFA ranking following their recent performance in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
Otto Addo's side, having been 76th in back-to-back rankings, has now moved to the 75th position as far as the global ranking is concerned.
The progression follows the Black Stars' performance during the September 2025 international window, where they faced Chad and Mali in the World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana drew against Chad before beating the Eagles of Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium to maintain top spot in Group I of the qualifiers.
Despite the improvement in the global ranking, they, however, remain unchanged in the continental ranking.
Ghana sit 14th as far as the ranking of African countries is concerned.
Addo hopes he can improve the team's ranking further when they return to action later in the year.
