The Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF), the world’s biggest and most transformative entrepreneurship event, is officially set to take place in Ghana from November 21 – 23, 2025, during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
In a landmark announcement, President John Dramani Mahama affirmed Ghana’s full readiness to host the festival, welcoming thousands of global delegates to Accra’s prestigious La Palm Royal Beach Hotel & Resort.

In his remarks, President Mahama assured of Ghana’s readiness to host what he described as a “historic global event,” noting that the theme, “The AI-Powered Entrepreneur,” is in line with his administration’s vision of leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to drive innovation, create jobs, and accelerate national development.
The President commended the Board of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival for entrusting Ghana with such a significant responsibility and applauded their efforts in building a platform that unites world leaders, policymakers, investors, and entrepreneurs from across the globe.
He further confirmed his attendance and pledged his full support to ensure the festival is a resounding success, adding that Ghana will not only showcase its culture and hospitality but also demonstrate the strength of its entrepreneurial ecosystem to the world.
President Mahama declared that Ghana is open, ready, and committed to making GEF 2025 a landmark event in history. He stated that this further proves Ghana as the gateway to Africa.
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival is more than an event, it is a global platform advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through enterprise, innovation, and inclusive collaboration.
The festival will convene over 10,000 in-person participants, more than 200 investors, attract 10 million virtual viewers, and feature 100 exhibitors and 60+ global speakers from over 70 countries.
GEF 2025 will deliver 12 immersive events in a span of 3 days, including conferences, networking sessions, breakout rooms, business pitches to investors & venture capitalists, the Global Recognition Award Gala, Hackathon,Innovations & Robotics Expo, Arts,Sports & Entertainment, International Trade Fair & Exhibitions, Global Leadership Forum, International Women’s Congress, Fashion Show and Closing Concert.
These events will bring together world leaders, entrepreneurs, MSMEs, tech innovators, C-suite executives, and policymakers, all united by the theme: “The AI-Powered Entrepreneur: Creating a Sustainable Planet.”
