FirstBank Ghana has reinforced its commitment to improving healthcare and education in Ghana with a significant donation of GH₵80,000, raised by its staff, in support of the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central’s child-focused initiatives.

The donation was presented by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FirstBank Ghana, Mr Victor Yaw Asante, to the President of the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central, Mr Henry Lamptey, at a brief ceremony held in Accra.

This contribution will support the Club’s flagship projects, including the donation of four incubators to the neonatal units of selected health institutions to support the care and development of newborns, particularly those who are pre-mature or critically ill.

In addition, it will aid in the refurbishment of the ICT laboratories at the Abossey Okai Anglican Basic School and the Mataheko cluster of Basic Schools, thereby making learning more engaging and interactive, promoting a more effective learning experience and equipping young students with the digital skills needed to thrive in the 21st century.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Victor Yaw Asante reaffirmed the Bank’s firm commitment to delivering value not only to customers but also to the wider community.
