The vehicle, with registration number WT 591-20, was intercepted at the Mpeasem Axle Load Station during a police operation led by Chief Inspector Abraham Bansah.

According to police sources, the suspects, including the 34-year-old driver of the truck, were transporting the parcels believed to be Indian hemp from the Central Region towards Nzema in the Western Region.
The suspects are currently in police custody at the Elmina Police Station, assisting with investigations to identify and apprehend the owner of the seized contraband.
