Scores of mourners gathered at the University of Ghana Sports Complex Park on Monday, October 20, to observe the 40th day rites of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, revered across Ghana and beyond as a visionary inventor, spiritual leader, industrialist, and philanthropist.
The ceremony, steeped in tradition and reflection, marked exactly 40 days since his passing on 11th September 2025 at the age of 77.

It drew mourners from all corners of the country and the diaspora, uniting Ghanaians in collective mourning and celebration of a life that profoundly shaped the nation’s spiritual and technological identity.

As the ceremony began at 8:00 a.m., a rainbow appeared in the skies over Accra a moment that members of the Kristo Asafo Mission interpreted as a heavenly sign of Apostle Safo's enduring presence and blessing over the day’s solemn observance.

Among those present was Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, who joined in paying his respects. Also in attendance were Sarah Adwoa Safo, Esq., former MP for Dome-Kwabenya, and her siblings, along with members of the Aduana family of Essumangya and Asantemanso, and senior figures from the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana.
