Cerveau Properties, in collaboration with the Cerveau Initiative, has successfully concluded its Pink October campaign in grand style. The month-long effort was dedicated to breast cancer education, sensitization, and free screening for both men and women.
Throughout October, Cerveau Initiative embarked on a mission of solidarity and community outreach, visiting hospitals, markets, and other public spaces to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and regular breast checks. The campaign culminated in a free breast screening exercise for women in host communities.

Operations Director for Cerveau Properties and Cerveau Initiative, Sonia Mendy, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to creating social impact beyond its core real estate business, emphasizing that initiatives like this form part of Cerveau’s broader mission to give back to society.
According to her, “it is very important for us to work together and try to do the best for this close-up event and action during all this month.”

Operations Manager at Cerveau Initiative, Pearl Tani Daasu, also highlighted the various outreach activities carried out during the campaign.
“We went to the markets, we spoke to the women, we educated them about breast cancer. We went to the mountains, we took a walk, we spoke to people about breast cancer, also inviting them for today's event. We also concentrated on women who have gone through the mastectomy process, women who have fought breast cancer and women who are surviving breast cancer currently,” she stated.

She further encouraged women to take advantage of screening programmes available in their communities.
Cerveau’s Pink October initiative not only heightened awareness of breast cancer but also strengthened calls for early detection and community support in the fight against the disease.
