The Ghana Police Service has arrested blogger Samuel Amadotor of Dklassgh.net for allegedly publishing false information about the former board chair of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Mr Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio II, according to a statement issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The CID, in a release signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, stated that Amadotor was apprehended on Thursday, November 20, with the assistance of the National Signals Bureau (NSB) following a formal complaint lodged by Mr Ababio.
The former NCA board chair accused the blogger of deliberately circulating fabricated allegations about him.

According to the police, Amadotor admitted to the offence during interrogation and mentioned one Chairman Michael Yeboah as the individual who allegedly contracted him to publish the false information.
“We are making efforts to locate Chairman Yeboah to assist with the investigation,” the CID noted in the statement.

Police say Amadotor is currently in custody and will be arraigned on Friday, November 21, 2025.
