The Paga Youth Movement (PAYOM), a community-focused development group, has donated a range of essential medical equipment to the Kassena Nankana West District Hospital in a bid to enhance healthcare delivery in the area.
The items, procured by PAYOM member Rebecca Kunipaga Kubakwaale, include wheelchairs, walking aids, urine drainage bags, catheters, dressing pads, transfer belts, Aro chambers, disposable aprons, and needles.

The Vice Chairman of the Paga Youth Movement (PAYOM), Fredrick Wugaah Awovere said the gesture forms part of their commitment to giving back to the community and supporting government efforts to improve healthcare access and quality.
He encouraged the hospital to put the equipment to effective use to enhance healthcare delivery for residents.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Monica Koole expressed profound appreciation for the gesture.

“On behalf of the team and the entire Kassena Nankana West District Hospital, I express our gratitude for this donation. We promise to make good use of it for the benefit of our people, and we hope more support will come in the future.” She said.
In a related development, Rebecca Kunipaga also donated a first aid box to PAYOM. The box will serve as an emergency response resource during public events organised by the movement.
Additionally, Godfred Atiga Awampaga presented two football trophies to PAYOM ahead of its upcoming inter-community football games.
He said the competition would foster unity and create networking opportunities among young people, hence his support.
