In a city driven by deadlines, gridlock, and nonstop digital alerts, a new wave of calm is about to sweep through Accra.
On Saturday, December 13, 2025, Corona Extra Beer will present the Corona Sunset Session at Bella Afrikana, beginning at 3:00 PM, with performances from Susan Augustt, Josh Blakk and more.
The experience is crafted as a refreshing escape for young professionals who feel the weight of constant activity. It speaks to the buzzing WhatsApp notifications, the side hustles that blur into personal time, and the daily commutes that feel like endurance tests.
Corona is offering a different pace — a gentle pause, a chilled-life reset, and a reminder that rest is not a luxury but an essential part of well-being.

Corona Extra Beer has long positioned itself as “the chilled life in a bottle,” and the Sunset Session is designed to bring that identity to life. Inspired by the brand’s global purpose, “Disconnect to Reconnect,” the session encourages guests to step outside the noise, choose good company, enjoy a cold Corona, and take in the quiet beauty of the sun’s golden descent.
“For young Ghanaians who are constantly moving, we want to offer more than just a party — we want to offer a genuine moment of pause,” said Jerry John Quaye, the Brand Manager – High End at Accra Brewery PLC.

“This session is about trading screen time for sunshine, and digital noise for genuine connection,” he added.
Guests can expect a lineup curated to promote ease, creativity and mindful relaxation. Live performances from artists including Susan Augustt and Josh Blakk will set a soothing tone.
Creative workshops such as mural painting and a gentle crocheting masterclass will offer hands-on ways to unwind. Wellness stations will provide massages, while interactive games and curated DJ sets will keep the atmosphere serene and uplifting.
The event promises a slice of calm and connection without leaving the heart of the city. Click here to RSVP.
The upcoming Corona Sunset Session also marks the start of a thoughtful series from Corona Beer, dedicated to creating moments that prioritise ease, balance and genuine human connection. It is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the beauty of living in the present.
