Talent Hour for Persons with Disabilities (TH4D) is giving amputee footballers across Ghana a platform to shine with its 2025 Amputee Soccer Regional Tour, which has discovered a host of new talents.
The tour, which began on October 4 across six regions - Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, Ashanti, Central, and Northern - concluded on December 13.
It is designed to identify, nurture, and promote talented amputee footballers, particularly women and juniors, for potential national team selection and club participation.
32 female players have been identified, along with 54 male players who will be recommended for regional amputee football clubs.

The grand finale is scheduled for December 20 at the University of Ghana main field, bringing together all newly discovered players from the six regions for a regional competition.
Awards, prizes, and tokens of appreciation will be presented to outstanding performers.
Founder Samuel Obeng Ansah noted that the tour faces financial constraints, revealing that only 30% of the required budget has been secured, leaving a 70% funding gap.
Director of the National Sports Authority in Tamale, Jahid Ibrahim, also urged government agencies and corporate institutions to provide financial and logistical support, including crutches, jerseys, footballs, and boots.
