Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has lauded forward Antoine Semenyo, describing him as a 'very good guy.'
Bernardo's praise for the Ghanaian comes following his Man of the Match-winning performance against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.
Semenyo scored for the Cityzens as they claimed a 2-0 away win over Newcastle in the first leg of the semi-final tie on Tuesday night.
The goal was Semenyo's second in two games for Pep Guardiola's side since arriving from Bournemouth last week.
His recent performances are enough to convince Bernardo that the Ghanaian could spark the blue side of Manchester into greater things.
"He looks not just a very good player but also a very good guy, which fits right in with the team. He is a fantastic guy who wants to help us. Hopefully, he can keep going," he said.
Semenyo has had a great start to life at Man City, recording two goals and one assist in two games while also notching up two Man of the Match awards.
The 26-year-old will be aiming for a first Premier League start for City when they come up against Manchester United this weekend.
