In this feature series, 'Roads of Peril,’ we take you to the Kwabenya–Berekuso–Kitase stretch in the Greater Accra region where residents, students and drivers face daily struggles on a road that raises not only safety concerns but also poses serious health risks.
Imagine commuting to school each day along a road where every passing vehicle kicks up clouds of red dust.
For residents, students, and staff of Ashesi University — one of the tertiary institutions along the Kwabenya–Berekuso–Kitase stretch, this is a daily reality. Despite repeated assurances from successive governments, they lament that the road situation remains the same. Pearl Ofori has more in today’s edition of 'Roads of Peril.'
