President John Mahama will embark on a five-day working visit to South Korea from March 10 to March 14.
According to a statement issued by the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President will depart Accra on Sunday, March 8.
During the visit, President Mahama is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his South Korean counterpart, President Lee Jae Myung. He will also meet the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, Woo Won-shik.
The statement said the President will participate in a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Shipyard in Ulsan as part of activities lined up for the trip.
President Mahama will also deliver a speech at a conferment ceremony at Yonsei University.
Other engagements include a meeting with members of the Ghanaian community in South Korea, comprising students, professionals, and residents.
He is also expected to attend a dinner meeting with chief executives and business leaders as part of efforts to strengthen economic ties and explore investment opportunities.
