In a vibrant celebration of International Women’s Day, Yango Ghana, part of Global tech company Yango Group, proudly hosted a special empowerment chit chat dedicated to its female partners and partner couriers, honoring their invaluable contributions as changemakers in a predominantly male-dominated industry. This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” served as the guiding principle of the event, emphasizing the importance of mutual support and collaboration in advancing gender equality. As part of the celebration, Yango Ghana presented special gifts to the women – a token of appreciation for their relentless dedication and hard work. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, as the women engaged in meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and forged networks that will bolster their professional journeys.

Keynote speakers shared inspiring insights on crucial topics such as time management, business expansion, building self-confidence, and career growth. Their words resonated deeply with the participants, encouraging them to embrace their potential and push the boundaries in their respective roles.
“The contributions of women in our industry cannot be overstated, and today we celebrate their resilience and determination,” said Emmanuel Koduah, Country Manager of Yango Delivery in Ghana, “As we honor International Women’s Day, it is vital to recognize that empowering women leads not only to individual success but also propels progress within our communities and society as a whole.”

The VP of Brand and Community at KOFA, Sandy Alibo who was the Special Guest Speaker at the event, emphasized the importance of mentorship and community support, urging the women to seek guidance and offer it to others. “We are stronger together. Let us cultivate an environment where our collective knowledge and experiences pave the way for future generations of women leaders,” she stated. The speeches aimed to inspire actionable change while fostering a community of empowered women committed to advancing their careers and supporting one another.
