The maiden edition of the Tema Ladies Open Golf Tournament teed off on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Centre of the World Golf Club in Tema.
The three-day competition, which runs until March 14, has attracted golfers from across West Africa, including Ivory Coast, Benin, Nigeria and host nation Ghana.
The tournament features both professional and amateur golfers, with participation open to men and women across various categories.
Players will compete in a stroke-play format, with tee-off scheduled between 6:30am and 10:00am each day. The entry fee for participants is set at GH¢300.
Organisers say the competition aims to promote the growth of golf in the region while providing a platform for female golfers to showcase their talent.
The Tema Ladies Open is supported by Multimedia, Golfer Online, Vaseline, Tang Palace, Bel-Aqua, Appah Farms, Dweteh Souvenirs, Enterprise Insurance and Telecel Cash.
