Ghana, who are competing alongside Eswatini, St Helena, Tanzania, Malawi and Seychelles in the African qualifiers, made light work of their opponents with a disciplined bowling display before chasing down the target with ease.
Backed by home support and familiar conditions, the team showed composure and attacking intent, with captain Obed Harvey leading from the front alongside key players Richmond Baaleri, Jayant Gautum, Frank Baaleri and Isaac Kofi Otuafo Aboagye.
The victory gives Ghana a strong start to the tournament as they look to build momentum in the group stage.
They will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Malawi, which takes place later today, as they aim to continue their impressive run in the qualifiers.
