The 3rd Edition of the Corporate Leadership Excellence Awards (CoLEA) 2026 was successfully held on Friday, 27th March 2026 at the prestigious La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

The high-profile event, organised by Imperial Communications, brought together distinguished business leaders, diplomats and industry stakeholders to celebrate excellence, innovation and impactful leadership across various sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

This year’s awards ceremony was held under the compelling theme: “Leadership with Purpose: Driving Excellence, Governance & Growth.” The theme underscored the critical role of visionary leadership in fostering sustainable development, strengthening corporate governance and driving economic expansion within and beyond Ghana.

Delivering the keynote address, Assiélou Félix Tanon, Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to the Republic of Ghana, emphasised the importance of purposeful leadership in navigating today’s dynamic business environment.

He highlighted the need for African businesses to adopt forward-thinking strategies, strengthen governance structures, invest more in Information Technology (IT) and embrace cross-border opportunities.

He further encouraged local enterprises to expand their operations beyond national borders, fostering regional integration and economic collaboration across West Africa.

A representative from the Embassy of Sierra Leone, speaking on behalf of Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, High Commissioner of Sierra Leone to Ghana, also echoed similar sentiments. The address reinforced the importance of leadership excellence in driving sustainable growth and encouraged businesses to leverage partnerships and innovation to remain competitive on the global stage.

The evening was marked by the recognition of outstanding individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and commitment to excellence within their respective industries.
