Some residents have resorted to informally directing traffic during peak hours, waving vehicles through the bend in an attempt to reduce confusion and keep traffic moving.

Pedestrians using the stretch say they are also exposed to significant risks as they attempt to cross the busy road.

Some residents are appealing to the relevant authorities to urgently repair the traffic light, warning that the situation could result in more serious accidents if left unresolved.

They are particularly concerned about elderly pedestrians, some of whom struggle to cross the road without assistance.
