President Evans Atta Mills has expressed best wishes to Moslems in Ghana on the occasion of Ramadan.
A statement by Presidential Spokesperson, Mahama Ayariga said the president in wishing all Moslems “a Happy and successful month of Ramadan,” urged all Moslems to use the month “as an occasion to commit the nation into the hands of Allah and to seek his guidance in the management of the social economic and political welfare of this country.
“The government shall do all in its power to lesson the burden on Moslems as they seek to carry out this onerous burden of satisfying this pillar of Islam.
“May you all have a blessed and successful Ramadan,” the statement said.
