Numo Gbele Mli Fo, Gua Wulomo of Osu Traditional Council has accepted the invitation of former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, on behalf of the Osu Mantse to witness his testimonial match scheduled for June 27.
The Osu Mantse joins the list of high profile dignitaries to grace the occasion.
Already distinguished personalities including Ex Presidents J.A Kufour and Jerry John Rawlings have accepted the invitation to be part of it.
The Tornado has been busy inviting men and women who played an instrumental role in his career to witness what will be his final official bow out of the game.
Receiving Appiah at his the Osu Mantse's Residence ,Numo Gbele Mli described him as a role model to the youth of the country and called for massive support for his impending dinner and testimonial match next month.
“Your role and contribution in the development of football in Ghana is unquestionable. We have observed you since your youthful days till today and we are proud of your achievements.
“You have been a blessing to us and we are proud of your achievements”.
A Dinner on June 26 at the Banquet hall of the State house will precede the Testimonial Match on June 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Primeval Media, Event Planners and Organizers are putting this together in partnership with Stephen Appiah .
