Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited, will on Saturday, November, 14, mark its ten years of operations in Ghana with a special mountain climb at the Akwapim Rigde, in the Eastern Region.
The exercise, which is part of activities marking the 10th Anniversary of the bank, is on the theme; "On top at 10 and beyond" will end in February 2010.
The mountain climb, which will cover a distance of 16 kilometers will commence at the base of the Akwapem Ridge, at Ayi Mensah in Accra with the Aburi Gardens as the termination point.
A statement from the Marketing and Public Relations Department of the Bank, said, members of staff of the bank, other corporate bodies and customers will participate in the one-day event.
It said participants were expected to converge at the starting point at 6 am to begin the mountain climbing expedition which was expected to last some two hours.
It said various fun games and aerobic sessions have been lined up to help the climbers unwind after they finish the walk.
According to Mawuko Afadzinu, Head of Marketing and Public Relations, "the Walk is actually a warm-up to all the exciting activities lined up for the celebrations and we are extending an invitation to all our customers, partners, stakeholders and the general public to join us".
