The Enterprise Group,  the holding company of Enterprise Insurance, Enterprise Life, Enterprise Trustee as well as Enterprise Properties together with their partners  Sanlam group based in South Africa has donated eighty-five thousand cedis to the Korlebu Burns Center to enable the center provide total medical care for the floods and  fire victims.

The donation was made after the management’s visit to the twin disaster victims who are receiving treatment at Korle-Bu .

The officials after seeing the extensive burns suffered by some of the fire victims were touched and therefore decided to quickly extend a generous hand to save the lives of the victims.

Fifty thousand of the amount will be used to provide the immediate needs of the patients while the remaining amount will also go into purchasing of new infusion pump machine for the center.

The management team was jointly led by the group CEO Mr. Keli Gadzekpo , Chairman, Tevor Trefgam, Amma Korantema Ansah and  Ernestina Abeh, General Manager, Claims .

Speaking after the donation, the group General Manager in charge of Human Resources, Amma Korantema Ansah said the gesture will go a long way to make a difference in the life of the victims.

She said as an insurance giant  Enterprise group will never hesitate to support the burns center in the future.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Director of the center, Dr. Bedford Albert Paintsil, reconstructive surgeon thanked the Enterprise Group for the gesture.

He was overwhelmed by the donation which included money to buy consumables that will help the patients in their dressing.

He noted that consumables will help patients to get well better.

He appealed to institutions to help the center to purchase an automatic gas analyzer which will help save burnt patients

The Enterprise Group was incorporated on 24th November 2008.
