LaGray Chemical Company based at Nsawam has won the 2009 Ghanaian Pharmaceutical Market Industry Innovation & Advancement Award Announced by Frost & Sullivan.
LaGray Chemical Company, has received the 2009 Ghanaian Pharmaceutical Market Industry Innovation & Advancement Award at the 2nd Frost & Sullivan Africa Best Practices Awards Banquet held at the Hilton Sandton Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Awards Banquet was hosted to acknowledge the business talents, innovations and achievements of African-based companies over the past year. Among the categories in which awards were presented were Growth Strategy Leadership, Technology Leadership and Product Innovation.
To merit an award, industry analysts compared market participants and measured performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices in the industry to vote the best candidates. The prestigious Frost & Sullivan Awards are recognized worldwide by the media, the investment community, and end-user markets.
In an interview shortly after receiving the award, the Chief Executive Officer of LaGray, Dr. Paul Lartey, noted that, finding sustainable solution to the Healthcare issues in Africa has been the focus of the company since its inception and it was gratifying to be recognized with such a prestigious award.
