Under-fire Kumasi Asante Kotoko boss David Duncan will not quit his post despite the poor chain of results recorded in the First Capital Plus Premier League.
With eight matches to end the season, the defending champions are lying 10th with 29 points - that's just three points more than rivals Hearts of Oak, who are in the relegation zone.
Duncan, for some time now has been under serious pressure with sections of fans asking for his resignation or outright dismissal.
But the former Great Olympics manager is determined to restore his name and Kotoko in the Ghana league.
"You know my history, I have never joined a club that is well set," he began, before enumerating his credentials.
"From my days at Olympics we were on the 15th position [when I took over] but we ended fourth. In 2006 when I joined Ashgold they were 16th but we ended eighth. Some of these things I don’t need to reiterate them because I have never been a quitter."
“I have never shied away from challenges, I always take up jobs that everyone runs away from. I walk into very tough task and challenges so I’m not a quitter and will never be a quitter."
Kotoko’s next league game is at the Sogakope Park on Wednesday against high-flying WAFA.
