The Deputy Operations Manager of Asante Kotoko has attributed the woes afflicting Ghana football to the GFA's Disciplinary Committee.
According to Alhaji Ali Maradona, the DC's inconsistent rulings have contributed to game's downward spiral.
Maradona made these comments in reaction to Hearts of Oak's recent one-match home ban. The punishment was given after the Phobians were accused of failing to control their supporters in Accra against Hasaacas on July 5.
Objects were allegedly hurled at Assistant Referee Issaka Badiu Alhassan, following a quick two-goal salvo from the Sekondi side. The ref sustained a cut to the head, causing a half-hour hold up.
Maradona feels the ban should have been more.
"The GFA Disciplinary Committee is gradually destroying our football. How can you give Hearts of Oak one match ban? If it should have been the smaller clubs, I don't think it would be one game. We should set good examples for others to follow and shouldn't condone violence," he told Asempa FM.
The Phobians were also fined GHc3000 and their supporters warned to be of good behavior in future matches.
Hearts are currently on the 14th position with 29 points after 24 matches. Kotoko are 11th position with 32 points.
The two giants of Ghana football will rekindle their rivalry this Sunday after the Phobians won the reverse fixture in Kumasi 1-0.
