Ahmed Toure could not feature in Kotoko's crucial win against AshGold on Sunday, but he's vowed to finish off Hearts this weekend.
The Super Clash is slated for the Accra Sports Stadium following the Phobians win of the reverse in Kumasi, 1-0.
Both teams have been very poor this season, as their bottom half positions on the log show.
“Whenever Hearts of Oak play against Kotoko it’s a big game and every player wants to give off his best,” Toure, who has 11 goals in 21 appearances this season, charged.
“We know that they [have] challenges but we are also aware that we need to pick up points to be able to remain competitive. So we are focused on picking up all three points on the day to improve our lots.”
The Porcupine Warriors top scorer reiterated, in the Citi Sports interview, his commitment to help the side finish respectably with six matches to go, expressing optimism that the illness that kept him out at the weekend would have abated by Sunday.
