Michael Akuffo has arrived in Lebanon ahead of a move to giants, Al-Ansar.
The holding midfielder who played full game in Asante Kotoko's famous 2-1 win over arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the FCPPL on Sunday left Accra for Beirut in the early hours of Monday.
The 29-year-old will sign to a two-year contract with the 13-times Lebanese champions after passing a mandatory medical.
Akuffo has been an instrumental figure in the set-up of the porcupine warriors in recent years where he captained the Kotoko side to two of three successive league titles.
Akuffo, a former Feyenoord Academy (now WAFA SC) graduate previously featured for ASEC Mimosas and Finland's FC Popa before returning home to join Asante Kotoko four seasons ago.
Al-Ansar who have also won the FA Cup on thirteen occasions finished second in the 2014/15 alfa Lebanese Premier League.
