Former Hearts coach Joseph 'JE' Sarpong has ruled out a return to coaching the club.
He's pledged his time to build a solid and formidable Dwarfs team as they aim to make a comeback to Ghana's top flight.
Sarpong, who is currently in charge of the high-flying Dwarfs in Dvision One, was one time head coach of the Phobians. And with the capital-based club flirting with relegation, some have called for an experienced hand like his.
"l started a project and the project is going on well as expected so why should l leave to another club to start everything all over again?” he asked on Asempa FM's Sports Nite.
Hearts, former African champions, are currently 15th on the log with two games to play.
“Coaching here [at Dwarfs] is a dream and means everything to me because I have always been a huge fan and also have the support of all. I am happy where I am at the moment and the project here excites me and I looking forward to our return to premiership.”
Hearts started the season with Herbert Addo, but booted him out after 21 games and put Eddie Ansah in a stop-gap capacity. The tide of bad results has not stopped, however, leading the club to appoint Vanli Can, a Turkish coach to help with technical direction.
But that has not helped, either.
