Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli wanted to convince on the pitch during his loan at Milan, but he has once again written bad headlines off it after losing his driving licence due to speeding.
The Italian began life in Milan with a superb performance against Serie C side Mantova, scoring a goal and assisting the other two in a 3-2 win.
However, Rossoneri boss Sinisa Mihajlovic insisted his new striker still needs to lose some kilograms to return to his best, and the Serbian certainly won’t be happy to hear about Balotelli’s latest drama.
According to Gironale di Brescia, the forward has had his driving licence revoked by police for speeding.
The report claims the controversial striker was caught on camera near his home in Brescia. The speed limit was 50km/h, but Balotelli was caught driving 40km/h faster at 90km/h in his Lamborghini.
He reportedly told the police, "I’m sorry, I didn't notice."
Milan reportedly made the 25-year-old sign a so-called "good behaviour" clause in his contract, and it is yet to be seen how the club will react to their striker’s latest off-pitch drama.
