The GSE All-Share Index, the main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange, went up by 34.08 points to close at 5,626.78 points buoyed by gains in four equities.
Change for the year closed the session at 0.98 per cent.
On the broader market, there were five price changes - four gainers and a loser.
EBG gained GH¢0.10 at GH¢3.10; Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was up by GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.34; Fan Milk Ghana Limited went up GH¢0.10 at GH¢6.80; and Standard Chartered Bank advanced by GH¢0.21 at GH¢30.66.
The only loser for the session was Produce Buying Company PBC, which lost GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.18.
Shares that changed hands during the session stood at 405,932.
Market capitalisation closed the session at GH¢15,986.21 million.
