Robert Lewandowski came on as a substitute at half-time with Bayern Munich losing 1-0 to Wolfsburg and scored five goals in under nine minutes -- the fastest by a player in Bundesliga history.
Lewandowski, 27, was on the bench for the Bundesliga game on Tuesday night but replaced Thiago at half-time and got his side back into it immediately.
Five incredible goals followed in eight minutes, 59 seconds, between the first and the fifth -- the fastest anyone has scored five in Bundesliga history, and Bayern won 5-1.
His first three goals came in the span of four minutes, the fastest hat trick in Bundelsiga history.
Lewandoswki levelled the score with a toe poke from six yards in the 51st minute, and Bayern took the lead on his blast from 20 yards a minute later.
He had to work harder for his third goal in the 55th minute, first hitting the post and seeing his follow-up saved before finally finding the back of the net.

The fourth came in the 57th minute, when he scored from a cross on a high bounce. But he saved the best for last in the 60th minute, volleying Mario Gotze's cross with a scissor kick to send the crowd further into raptures.
Pep Guardiola said after the match: "I don't understand this, five goals! I have never in my life witnessed something like this whether as a player or a coach.
"Five goals against Wolfsburg is not easy. I am very, very happy for Robert. For his self-esteem and our future this is very important. I can not explain this."
Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking added: "What can I say. A world class strike shot five times on goal and could have scored seven. This is how it felt for us. But no matter the quality something like this can not happen. We had a good first half, Bayern could not get any flow. Then these nine minutes come, one cannot explain this."
