Industries in the country with effective Friday are expected to receive additional 30 megawatts increment in power supply.
The 100 Megawatts being shed currently for industry has subsequently been reduced to 70 Megawatts.
The increase, according to the Power Minister, Dr. Kwabena Donkor, is attributed to improvement in the electricity generation and distribution in the country.
In a statement signed by Head of Corporate Affairs at the Power Ministry, Johnson Sersah directed the Load Management Committee to act immediately.
The statement further said the ministry is monitoring development in the power sector and will announce further changes when necessary.
It would be recalled that on September 1, 2015, the Minister issued a similar directive to the Load Management Committee to reduce the 130 Megawatts load being shed for industry to 100 Megawatts.
