The new Heromobile is hitting the streets of Ghana in October looking for interesting stories from people in Accra. Each weekend will include two stops with concerts and contests.
From 16-17 and 23-24 of October, the Heromobile will be going to different neighborhoods in Accra in search of local heroes - anyone who stands out, makes a difference or is looking for change. DW and Joy News will be collecting these stories, taking pictures of the protagonists and celebrating at the same time.
The Heromobile accompanies the launch of DW's international news channel, which was made with local heroes in mind and is available on Multi TV in Ghana.
Each stop of the roadshow will be accompanied by the musical acts from around Accra - and the events are free. The lineup is fitting for Ghana's local heroes, with musical acts like VVIP, Obrafour, Skrew Faze and Gasmilla. In addition, the organizers will be taking pictures of attendees and collecting stories from the crowd.
Each participant who shares their story and has their picture taken will have a chance at winning a digital camera. More information about the events and the schedule is available at dw.com/heromobile.
