The Young Professionals and Youth Coalition (YPYC), has honored Wonda World Estates and Petronia City CEO Nana Kwame Bediako with the Young Male Role Model of the Year award.
The award was presented at the 7th annual Transformational Leadership Conference, which was held at the International Conference Center Accra, Ghana.
The award, which is given out at every annual Transformational Leadership Conference, seeks to recognize and honor heroes and exemplary leaders who serve as role models to other young professionals.
The awards scheme was instituted by the Leadership of YPYC in 2009 to honor those who promote young professionals and who help in career development activities as well as demonstrate leadership both personally and professional to the youth and the society.
Present at this year's Gala was – Hon. Mustapha Ahmed, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr Joyce Aryee, Former C.E.O. of Ghana Chamber of Mines, Dr Kwame Addo Kuffuor and Director General of GBC Major (Rtd.) Albert Don-Chebe.
Winners of this year's awards include, World Vision International – Organization of the Year, Dentaa Amoateng –Young Professional Female Role Model with Former Black Stars Captain Stephen Appiah walking away with the 2015 Honorary Award.
This award is the third received by the CEO this year. On the 4th of July at the 2015 GUBA Awards, he won the award for Best Business Entrepreneur; this was followed by being honored with the Young Entrepreneur of 2015 Award at the 3rd Annual Head of State Awards on the 16th of July.
