Fifteen (15) newly elected Student Leaders of the 2015/2016 Batch of Ministerial Students at the Pentecost Theological Seminary have been inducted into office at a colourful ceremony held at Gomoa-Fetteh, near Kasoa in the Central Region.  A total of one hundred and eighteen (118) students were admitted this year.

The student leadership is expected to serve for the first half of the 2015/2016 academic year. Being the highest decision-making body of students, the leaders will be expected among other things, to oversee projects and make decisions concerning student’s welfare in order to improve the conditions of the students of the Seminary.

The newly elected leaders include Dr. Suleman De-Graft Issaka (Student Head), Augustine Turay (Deputy Student Head), Samuel Ako (Secretary), Felix Dela Klutse (Public Relations Officer), Stephen Adebayo (International Students Representative), Dominic Manu (Financial Secretary), David Fosu Darlington (Student Affairs Leader), Mark Owusu-Ansah (Music Director) and Lino Naete (Student Librarian). 

The others are Frank Agbo (Health and Sanitation Officer), Emmanuel Obosu (Cafeteria Co-ordinator), Alvaro Gomez (Sports Secretary), James Fosu (Coffee Shop Attendant), Albert Carlos Asamoah (Student Chaplain) and Edwin George Mathew (Deputy Student Chaplain).

Speaking at the induction ceremony, the Principal of the Seminary, Rev (Dr) Emmanuel Kwasi Anim, urged the new crop of leaders to have the supreme interest of students at heart in the discharge of their duties.

The Student Head, Probationary Overseer (Dr) De-Graft Suleiman Issaka, in his acceptance speech, thanked the ministerial students for the confidence and trust reposed in him and called on his colleagues to work tirelessly for the interest of the students in particular and the seminary in general. 

Present at the induction ceremony were Rev. J. Yirenkyi-Smart (Lecturer and Student Affairs Co-ordinator) and the Chaplain of the Seminary, Rev. Emmanuel Oppong Donkor. 

The Pentecost Theological Seminary (PTS) is a ministry of the Church of Pentecost and has the responsibility of offering the following: Pastoral and Theological training for the newly enlisted ministers, higher theological training for serving ministers and lay leaders of the Church, Missionary training for prospective and serving missionaries and a Family Life School for members of the Church of Pentecost and the wider Christian Community.
