SIC Insurance Company Limited has donated a cash amount of GHS10, 000 to support the Otumfuo Education Fund.
A delegation from SIC Insurance, led by the Acting Managing Director, Mr. Kwei Mensah Ashidam handed over the cash amount when they joined leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace.
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, commended SIC Insurance for its commitment towards the development of education and capacity building, especially in the Insurance Industry in Ghana.
He also acknowledged most of the initiatives in education, health and other areas that the insurance giant has supported, in a bid to complement development efforts of the government.
Otumfuo added that SIC Insurance’s commitment to sustainable development especially in education is in line with his Foundation’s objective and was therefore proper for the company to support its activities.
The Asantehene, thanked SIC Insurance for the donation and admonished the company to maintain its good corporate citizenship.
