I am wondering, can somebody advice Mr. Philip Anderson to stop this fruitless court action he's embarking on against his colleague candidate who won at the NPP parliamentary primaries?
Aah, why is Philip doing this to his hard-earned reputation?
This disgrace he's bringing upon himself is not only affecting himself alone but it is equally having some kind of detrimental effect on the image of Nana Akufo-Addo, the party's Flagbearer that he, Philip recently represented for the landmark case at the Apex court of the land.
The Supreme Court case which he executed consciously with excellence did put him at the preeminent height with an air of distinction and dignity amongst his colleague lawyers in Ghana.
This distinguished eminency attained may have been wrongly calculated to mean that it would be translated into political votes in NPP internal primaries. That indeed never happened.
But it appears that the steps Philip is seen and heard taking to correct this little dent on this notability acquired, as a result of the primaries lost, may go a long way to notch him big time if he continues with his court action against the party.
He may lose the envious respect he currently commands not only in NPP fraternity but in Ghana as a whole.
We all know how the parliamentary primaries was totally mismanaged by Mr Agyepong and Paul Afoko's leadership. But my humble caution to Philip is that, he shouldn't cry so much over a spilt milk.
This man, Anderson, is such a great man, good material for an Attorney General's position in any serious govt. One doesn't really need to be an MP to occupy the position of AG or Minister of Interior. He is 100% fit to occupy such positions in any serious administration.
I would prefer if Nana Akufo-Addo himself would speak to him to reconsider this court action against the party on just simple primaries. He is bigger than such little issues.
As it is now, it is not looking good on him, to be fair, especially at these dangerous times that this notorious - Afoko is trying to breakdown the whole party headquarters building.
