President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in South Africa to participate in the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation.
Accompanied by First Lady Mrs. Lordina Mahama, President Mahama will hold short bilateral talks with the President of China, HE Xi Jinping. The discussions will focus on political and developmental cooperation between the two countries.
The Forum which opens tomorrow, Friday, will include a China-Africa Equipment and Manufacturing Industry Exhibition. President Mahama will address the Forum on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Mahama will in her capacity as President of the Organisation of African First Ladies Against AIDS (OAFLA) co-host an HIV & AIDS side event with the First Lady of China and the First Lady of South Africa.
