He had so much wanted to pursue his national service in Accra, but the ‘computers’ at the National Service Secretariat sent him to the Upper East - his most unlikely destination.
But from there, “the novelty of the environment”, with great people he discovered a career in writing which has catapulted him into stardom and a place on personality profile segment on Joy FM’s Drive Time.
Kofi Akpabli, a freelance journalist, was declared winner of the CNN-Africa Journalist of the year on Arts and Culture for his sumptuous article “The serious business of soup in Ghana.”
Born in the 70(s) Kofi has an insatiable desire to write about tourism and the kitchen.
“Soup is not a child’s play.
It must not be served in a cup
Nor without meat or fish
