With its ambition of becoming a tier one bank in Ghana in the next five years, Capital Bank Ghana Limited has began an aggressive retail banking campaign aimed at bringing banking to the doorsteps of many Ghanaians.
According to the indigenous bank, such a step will help enroll many unbanked and ‘underbank’ segment of the population by making a more convenient proposition.
It also believes the move will attract many bankable Ghanaians who are looking for other alternatives to undertake their banking transactions.
The indigenous bank has began retail activations at Central University College at Miotso in the Greater Accra region, Neoplan Station at Circle, Accra and the Pentecost University College at Sowutuom also in Accra to provide its tailor-made and products to many people. The target markets are students, traders and artisans who undertake daily business transactions.
