The Chairman of Tema East Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said posterity would appreciate President John Mahama sterling initiatives under the Transformation Agenda.
“Visionaries like President John Mahama are always remembered long after their exit because his generation does not see what he sees and so they find it difficult to understand him.”
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Tema, Alhaji Mahama Bulisah said, “I will not condemn anyone for passing negative comments but I plead that we should all step back and look at what the man is doing and put it within the general development context of the country. We will then appreciate him better.”
According to him, Ghana needs such bold problem solvers who believed in long-term solutions and not short-term populist fixes, which tended to be counterproductive.
The NDC Chairman said, “There is no doubt that Ghana is on the right track to achieving meaningful national development and security.”
