The Greater Accra Regional branch of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network of the ruling NDC is demanding the immediate resignation of the party’s National Youth Organiser and the Greater Accra Regional Minister.
TEIN says the National Youth Organizer of the ruling party, Ludwig Hlodze, is trying to impose leaders on the network. They also accuse the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Armah Ashietey, of assaulting their Propaganda Secretary.
The president of the Greater Accra branch of TEIN, David Sunu, said they wanted Mr Hlodze and Greater Accra minister to resign on the account of their gross incompetence and flagrant abuse of power.
TEIN says the attempt by the National Youth Organiser Ludwick Hlodze to impose executives upon them is unacceptable.
“In fact, during his campaign for the National Youth Organiser position, Mr Hlodze recognized, campaigned to, and even collaborated with these same Greater Accra Regional executive. But today, he wishes to erect a super structure above us so that he can impose his favourites, and cronies and apologists on the elected executive – such selfish hypocrisy.
“Because of these, and other reasons which expose the gross incompetence of Mr Ludwig Hlodze, the National Youth Organiser of the NDC, we proceed to ask him to resign,” he said.
